This is a piece of carved stone most likely of Chinese or Taiwanese origin. It depicts the detailed scene of mountains, trees, buildings and even a bridge with people. The pictures show the incredible detail.
The stone is some form of Jade, but not a typical style of jadeite and nephrite. Most likely a type jade stone that is akin to nephrite or quite possible nephrite itself.
This statue measure approximately 8 inches wide and 5 inches tall (7 inches with the wood base). The carved wooden base is made for this statue and the statue is affixed to the base.
